Thomas Kilner Melbourne Australia Death: The Cheltenham Football Netball Club Mourns Footballer

The Cheltenham Football Netball Club and the wider Melbourne football community are heartbroken over the passing of Thomas “Totti” Kilner, a talented and spirited young footballer remembered for his passion for the game, his loyalty to his mates, and the vibrant energy he brought to every moment of life.

Thomas began his football journey through Cheltenham’s Under 19’s program, where his skill and determination quickly made him stand out. Known for his competitive drive and love for a good goal, Totti embodied the true spirit of Australian Rules Football—tough on the field but always full of heart. His teammates recall him as sharp-witted, cheeky, and fiercely loyal—“a rascal,” as they fondly put it, who could make anyone laugh even on the hardest days.

Beyond his athletic ability, Totti was deeply connected to the camaraderie and culture of the club. He was a proud member of the group affectionately known as the “Rat Pack,” a tight circle of mates who showed up early to training not just to practice, but to banter, joke, and build the bonds that make footy feel like family. To Totti, football was about more than competition—it was about friendship, teamwork, and the simple joy of belonging.

Those who knew him best speak of a young man with an enormous heart, someone who loved fiercely, lived freely, and left behind memories that will never fade.

The Cheltenham Football Netball Club extends its deepest condolences to Wayne, Seals, Nick, and Jax, as well as to all who were blessed to know Totti.

Thomas “Totti” Kilner passed away in 2025, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, loyalty, and love for the game that brought his community together.
